ROBWEN
BCF CONFIGURATIONS
All Robwen foam products are automatic, discharge-side, mechanical systems
powered only by the flow of water. The BCF configuration is designed to be
permanently installed on mobile fire apparatus. Each system consists of a
differential pressure valve, control panel, 2 electric refill pumps and 2
bladder tanks. The bladder tanks are available in 5 gallon (19L), 7.5
gallon (28L), 10 gallon (38L), 15 gallon (57L) and 20 gallon (76L) capacities.
The ports on each of these 6 components come color-coded to simplify the hose
connections during the installation process.
The BCF was primarily designed to be used as a dual agent agent system.
There are no common pathways where two, non-compatible foam concentrates could
make contact. The BCF is also used by agencies desiring a large volume of
class A foam. A Model 1000BCF (two 10 gallon tanks) will treat 4000
gallons of water before any refilling is necessary.
